Olivia spent her early years in Buenos Aires, the daughter of Argentinean opera singer, Andreas Osuna, and her English mother who encouraged her to attend drama school which she did in England where she lived with her mother and younger brother. Her first big role was on the stage in Jean Brodie which is where Franco Zeffirelli spotted her and at age 15, cast her as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. As Juliet, Olivia won the Golden Globe and Italy's Best Actor Donatella Awards. After that she has appeared in more than two dozen films including Jesus of Nazareth, The Last Days of Pompeii, Lost Horizon, and the Hallmark Hall of Fame production of Ivanhoe. Olivia says her life's dream was playing Mother Teresa in this inspiring film which won her a CAMIE® AWARD at the 2007 CAMIES®, where she quickly became an on-stage favorite. Olivia became enchanted with the idea of rewarding those who create films with character and morality with beautiful bronze CAMIE® AWARDS and happily accepted the invitation to serve on the CAMIE® AWARDS advisory board.
