(Wonderful World of Disney, ABC, 2000) is a new film about the early life of Helen Keller and the amazing teacher, Annie Sullivan, who taught this blind, deaf, strong-willed, obnoxious, and combative child to communicate. Even those who know the story and have seen the 1979 movie by the same name will be captivated by this new film. The Miracle Worker not only tells a story about overcoming almost insurmountable problems but teaches about caring and love.
The acting of Hallie Kate Eisenberg, who plays Helen, is absolutely wonderful—a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. Thanks to The Wonderful World of Disney.
